Baylor’s Christian Carbone and Coach Dan Flack To Attend National Select Camp
Baylor Swim Club athlete and Baylor School student Christian Carbone, along with Head Swim Coach Dan Flack have been selected to attend the 2009 National Select Swimming Camp. This camp will be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs on October 29-November 1 for men and women.
These Select Camps are an important step in the Olympic development process designed to prepare athletes for membership on USA Swimming National Teams. The National Select Camp emphasizes education and motivation and is a critical component in the athlete’s preparation for the National Team experience. |

Carbone was selected based on his tremendous swimming performance over the last year, including winning the Southern Zone Championship in the 400 meter IM, and being ranked nationally in seven different events in his age group last year.
Carbone joins Baylor Senior Alison Lusk and Junior Spencer Rowe as Coach Flack’s athletes who have been selected for this camp. Lusk attended in 2006, and Rowe in 2008. |
