Baylor Swimming Alumni Trey Freeman to Compete at 2022 FINA World Championships

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY- This week, June 18-25, Baylor School / Baylor Swim Club alumni and current University of Florida athlete Trey Freeman will represent Team USA at the 2022 FINA World Championships.  The competition is being held at the Duna Arena in Budapest, Hungary.  Freeman secured his space as a member of Team USA with his qualification in late April at the USA Swimming International Team Trials.  In the 400-meter freestyle, Freeman made an epic comeback to claim second in the event.  He finished just behind 2020 Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist Kieran Smith clocking a time of 3:46.93.  He will compete on Saturday, June 18th in the 400-meter freestyle at the World Championships.  See the links below for complete info.

Trey Freeman stands as one of the most decorated athletes and swimmers in Baylor School history.  During his time at Baylor, he was a member of the USA Swimming National Team, National Junior Team, a NISCA All-American, a TISCA State Champion, and still holds multiple school records.
