Nashville, TN — From June 6th-8th, Baylor Swim Club travelled to the Tracy Caulkins natatorium to compete in the NAC Summer Sizzler. There were a total of 17 club teams from more than 3 states, including Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Baylor Swim Club had a total of 40 swimmers, from across the Senior group all the way down to the Age group, compete at the meet.
One very recognizable swim came from Brandon Adkins (Class of ’25), breaking the 200 Free LCM Bermudian national record with a time of 1:54.21. The record was previously held by Jesse Washington with a time of 1:54.22. This is now the second national record Adkins breaks this year! Other notable performances (listed in order by most scored points) came from Lily Vicknair (120 points), Anara Summers (117 points), Keilah Holliman (101 points), Hayden Vicknair (88 points), Ben Hardin (80 points), and Mitchell Maedel (78 points), all earning multiple top 3 finishes and/or wins!
