Athletes will enter the facility through the red double doors at the rear of the natatorium. Each athlete will need to have their temperature taken and must turn in a COVID-19 check-in sheet before you can enter the building. The check-in sheet will be emailed to all athletes & volunteers.
Prior to the beginning of the meet, ALL parents should write the events the child will be swimming on the child’s arm. This should include event #, heat #, and lane #. (This information can be found by accessing a heat sheet, which is posted on the hosted meets page.) This will enable the swimmer to determine if he/she is in the correct place.
Athletes should come to the competition in their suit and then exit the pool/facility in their suit. Bathrooms are to be used for emergencies ONLY. Locker rooms are NOT available for changing before or after the competition.
All Baylor swimmers will be sitting socially distanced in the bleachers above the pool. There will be safety monitors in the stands making sure athletes are socially distanced and that they have their personal face masks on while in the building.
Personal facemasks are required during the competition except right before the athletes are about to swim a race. Athletes will be given a plastic bag for their mask while they are swimming in a race.
Clerk of Course – ALL athletes will be required to go to the clerk of course to line-up for their races. The clerk of course will begin in the natatorium lobby. The events will be called by heats and not just the whole event all at one time.
Due to COVID-19 only athletes, officials, and specific meet volunteers will be allowed in the building during the competition. Spectators will NOT be allowed at the meet. The Live Stream link will be communicated prior to the meet.

The Holiday practice schedule (Dec. 21, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021) is now available. Please follow the schedule below closely.
This year the Baylor Swim Club will be taking a Christmas Break, and there will be NO PRACTICES for ALL groups from Tuesday, December 22nd- Tuesday, December 29th. Practices will resume on a Holiday Practice schedule beginning Wednesday, December 30th.
The Baylor Swimming Staff would like to wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday season.
What exciting news! The Baylor Swim Club has been awarded by United States Swimming the distinction of being a nationally ranked Silver Medal swim club in the USA Swimming Club of Excellence program for the 2021 swimming season!
What exactly does this mean? This means that Baylor Swim Club is recognized as one of the top clubs in the country based on organizational professionalism and athletic performance. To qualify for this award, Baylor had to submit an extensive report to United States Swimming, documenting club professionalism as well as both national and world-class performance.
As we get into the fall and winter season the weather is beginning to get cooler, especially in the evenings. The coaching staff continues to chastise far too many swimmers for arriving in flip flops. While it is now a safety requirement due to COVID-19 to arrive in your swimsuit and leave practices in your swimsuit athletes can still layer themselves with warm clothes both before and after practices. Muscles require good care and thrive when pampered. Keeping them warm begins the recovery process after a demanding practice. We thank you for your support.
This is just a reminder that all Baylor Swim Club athletes that are competing in swim meets are required to wear the red Arena Team suit during competitions. If you have not already purchased a team suit please do so prior to the next swim meet. Team suits can be purchased through our vendor SwimAndTri. See complete contact info below SwimAndTri.
SwimAndTRI is our official team vendor. Below you will find login information for Baylor Swim Club’s online TEAM PORTAL on www.SwimAndTri.com and the most up to date contact information for our team vendor, SwimAndTri. Following the Baylor School fall break, we will be entering into an updated practice schedule. This schedule will begin on Tuesday, October 13th. Please be sure to read over and follow the schedule carefully.
Personal facemasks are required when entering and exiting the natatorium. Coaches have been instructed that athletes without masks are NOT to be allowed in the building. We know things are forgotten at times but we are required to enforce this policy. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe.
The 2020-2021 Baylor Swim Club Team Handbook is now available in the Members section. The Team Handbook consists of all the policies and procedures for members that have joined the Baylor Swim Club.
Due to COVID-19, we will not be printing team handbooks this year. The membership should access the handbook via the MEMBERS section on the website.
