Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Olympic Trials will be divided into two competitions, with Wave I on June 4-7, 2021, and Wave II on June 13-20, 2021. Wave II will continue to serve as the sole qualifier for pool swimmers on the U.S. Olympic Team for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
It is once again time for another great season of CASL summer league swimming, and Nights at the Races. Below is just some information the Baylor Swimming Staff would like to pass on to you.
Every Baylor Swim Club member who participates, officiates, coaches or attends a Monday or Thursday night meet has a great opportunity to spread the word about the benefits of Baylor Swim Club and year-round swimming. Our coaches will make the rounds at many meets, but we can’t be everywhere. These Monday and Thursday night meets are a great way for all members to get involved in building our program.
Meet entries for the TNAQ June Invitational (June 18-20, 2021) in Knoxville, TN are now available. They can be found on the meets-info/results page or they can be viewed by logging into your TeamUnify account. The scratch deadline for this swim meet has passed, please email Laura Pitman by 9:00 AM on Monday, June 7th with any issues. With the steady decline in COVID–19 cases over the last several weeks in Hamilton County, loosening of restrictions both county and statewide well as the Baylor School dropping some of their restrictions the safety protocols & procedures have been updated. These changes will occur beginning Tuesday, June 1, 2021:
CHATTANOOGA, TN- On Saturday, May 29th the Baylor School senior class of 2021 will participate in commencement ceremonies. We will honor the 2021 senior class with this short video below. Congratulations to all the Baylor School and Baylor Swim Club student-athletes. Good luck to all of these seniors in their future endeavors both in and out of the pool.

Coach Flack talks about leading the Baylor girls and boys to state titles (TN) during a pandemic and talking through what a virtual state championship looked like. Flack also discusses being on staff at multiple colleges while also coaching for the associated club team and the knowledge he was able to gain from being around so many high-level and wise coaches.
Congratulations to the ten Baylor Swim Club seniors who have announced their college choices for 2021. Eight out of the ten seniors will be continuing their swimming careers in college. The 2021 SUMMER (June & July) Swimming Lessons schedule is now available. This summer (June & July 2021) ALL group swimming lessons will be held at the new Wilson Activity Center pool. Beginner, Advanced Beginner, and Pre-Swim Team classes will all be offered this summer. This pool is nestled on the Tennessee River and is located between the Ireland Studio Arts Center and the Music Building. Please see complete information at the links below.
