Here are some Important Things to Remember About Going to a Swim Meet
Prior to the beginning of the meet, ALL parents should write the events the child will be swimming on the child’s arm. This should include event #, heat #, and lane #. (This information can be found by accessing a heat sheet, which will be posted on the Tennessee Aquatics website ) This will enable the swimmer to determine if he/she is in the correct place
LOCKER ROOMS: Use of the varsity locker rooms shall be for athletes only and may be restricted to eight (10) people at a time during the meet. Officials, coaches, and other non-athlete attendees will be required to use the upstairs restrooms, the restrooms in the timing booth, or the visitor locker rooms. Timing booth restrooms are single occupancy. We encourage swimmers to come with their suits on and prepared to enter the water and plan to shower and change at home or the hotel after leaving. User groups assigned to each locker room area may be changed at the sole discretion of the Meet Director. At all times, athletes shall have a separate locker room area from other user groups.
LIVE RESULTS: Live results will be available on Meet Mobile
CONCESSIONS: UT Concessions will be available
PARKING: Parking will be located at the parking garage across the street from our facilities. Parking will be $10.00 for entry into the garage. If you choose to not park at the designated areas, you are parking at your own risk and could be subjected to being towed, ticketed, or having your car booted.
Immediately before and after each race, your child should see the coaching staff to get feedback on their performance. This is the best time for the child to clearly understand what things they did well and what they still need to work on.
All swimmers are responsible for getting behind the blocks in their correct heat and lane before each race. Parents, please remember that the coaches are not responsible for getting swimmers to the blocks for their race. The coaches need to make sure they watch every child’s race. Go out and have fun, and swim your best.
All parents must remain off the pool deck and in the stands above the pool during the swim meet. The pool is reserved for swimmers, meet officials, and meet volunteers ONLY.
PLEASE REMEMBER: We are not all about awards and time standards. Your child may not always have a best time or get an award, but they may do other things that the coaching staff and the swimmer should be proud of.
For more detailed information regarding attending swim meets please see the following pages in your team handbook: page 15- Swim Meet Policies, pages 16-18- Competitions, and page 18-19- Meet Entries. (Baylor Swim Club Team Handbook: 2021-2022 Season)

It is once again time for another great season of CASL summer league swimming, and Nights at the Races. Below is just some information the Baylor Swimming Staff would like to pass on to you.
Every Baylor Swim Club member who participates, officiates, coaches, or attends a Monday or Thursday night meet has a great opportunity to spread the word about the benefits of Baylor Swim Club and year-round swimming. Our coaches will make the rounds at many meets, but we can’t be everywhere. These Monday and Thursday night meets are a great way for all members to get involved in building our program.
What exciting news! The Baylor Swim Club has been awarded by United States Swimming the distinction of being a nationally ranked Silver Medal swim club in the USA Swimming Club of Excellence program for the 2022 swimming season!
What exactly does this mean? This means that Baylor Swim Club is recognized as one of the top clubs in the country based on organizational professionalism and athletic performance. To qualify for this award, Baylor had to submit an extensive report to United States Swimming, documenting club professionalism as well as both national and world-class performance.
