The coaching staff has gone ahead and made some practice schedule changes during the Middle School and High School swimming seasons because of meets being held at Baylor. If the practice group was not canceled, rescheduled, or listed then practice will be held at the regularly scheduled time. Please be sure to make a note of these changes.

Welcome Reception for Coach Brooks and Family
We are excited to welcome Coach Brooks and his family to the Baylor Swim Club. The club is hosting a welcome reception for his family on Friday, November 11 from 5:45-7:15 PM. This will be held in the Worsham lobby. Worsham is located at the opposite end of the field house building.
We will have finger foods and drinks at the reception. It is a drop in so don’t feel you have to stay the entire time.
The AG and Junior groups will practice from 5:30-6:15 PM on Nov. 11th so they can then come over to meet Coach Brooks.
Please let me know if you have questions.
We hope to see many of you there.

Payton Brooks Named Head Coach of the Baylor Swimming & Diving Programs
“Payton is everything that we were looking for in a head swim coach. He has been an integral part of successful programs at a variety of levels and reputably builds a strong rapport with his athletes,” said Baylor School Athletic Director Mark Price. “I am eager for our student-athletes to have the opportunity to develop under his leadership, and I am confident that he will continue to build upon the success of this tradition-rich program.”
Brooks joined the Hokie staff as the assistant in 2019; he played a role in leading the Tech men to 11th-place finishes at the NCAA Championships the past two seasons – the highest finishes in school history. The Tech women finished 21st and 23rd respectively, earning the lady Hokies the second and third-highest finishes for the program. Through these performances, the Hokies earned 42 All-American honors.
Parking for Swim Club Practices
This is just to remind everyone about parking options while athletes are attending swim practice. We now are full into the school season which means there are nights where LOTS of activities are taking place on campus. This means your usual parking spaces may be filled. When these nights occur please be courteous and drop your child off either in the front or the back entrance of the pool then proceed to a parking spot. There are many spaces in the front of the pool, a few on the side of the building, and many in the back of the building in the adjacent lot as well as spaces in another parking lot if you turn left out of the lot behind the pool.
Please do not back up traffic as you sit and wait for a parking space to be cleared. We ask that you either circle the lot or find another area.
Please be mindful of the handicapped spaces as well. Do not park there if you do not have a handicapped sticker or tag.
