Join Head Coach and Director of Competitive Swimming, Payton Brooks, Lead Assistant Senior Group Coach, Madison Jacobi, and Head Age Group Coach, Rudy Aguilar, for a 2-session Spring Stroke Clinic:
All sessions are for ages 6-18 and will be held from 12:30PM – 3PM with a single-stroke focus working on stroke technique, starts, and turns.
Athletes will receive instruction and advice that Coach Brooks has implemented with World-Class Athletes throughout his career from professional swimmers preparing for the Olympic Games, to Division I Athletes, and now with our own Red Raiders!
This camp is ideal for swimmers preparing for summer league competition and/or seeking to improve their stroke mechanics for better performance.
The Baylor Intersquad Meet will be held on May 11, 2024 at 8:30am at the Baylor School Natatorium. This is a great opportunity for Baylor swimmers from all age groups to swim fast together and have fun. The team will be split into the Red Team and the Grey Team for a friendly competition.
Here is the format for how the meet will be run:
8 & unders will swim a 25 of each stroke: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
9-10 and 11-12 year olds will swim a 50 of each stroke and a 100 IM.
13-14 and 15 & overs will swim a 100 of each stroke and a 200 IM.
We will recognize a winner for the boy and girl in each age group with the fastest overall time. Our hope is that this meet will grow into an annual event that swimmers look forward to!
