Indianapolis, IN — on June 18th, Drew Hitchcock clocked a 1:57.41 in the 200m Butterfly at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Drew not only made a mark by achieving the best time in Baylor’s history, but also by being the first Baylor athlete to advanced to a semifinal at a U.S. Olympic Trial. Drew qualified 10th in the prelims session, and finished 14th overall in the semifinal session later that evening.
CHATTANOOGA, TN — Get ready! It is championship season! This is what our Junior / Senior Group has been preparing for all summer! We will have some swimmers competing at the Southeastern championships July 19-21, while our Senior swimmers will be swimming at the Futures championships next week, July 24-27. During the week of Futures, the Southern Zone Age Group Championships will be taking place in Midland, TX, as well – which our 14 & Under swimmers will be competing for a spot on the roster during the Southeastern championships. The coaches going to Southeastern’s will be Payton Brooks, Madison Jacobi, and Rudy Aguilar. The coaches going to Futures will be Payton Brooks and Madison Jacobi.
