Hayden Vicknair has been named to the 2026–2027 U.S. National Junior Team, one of the most prestigious accomplishments in age-group swimming.
The USA Swimming National Junior Team recognizes the fastest and most accomplished swimmers ages 18 and under in the United States. Selection is based on qualifying performances against the nation’s top young athletes, with only a select number of swimmers earning a spot in each Olympic event.
Hayden earned his spot in the 100m Butterfly with a time of 52.66, ranking him 2nd in the nation among 18-and-under swimmers and 21st all-time among 17–18-year-olds.
This achievement places Hayden among an elite group of young swimmers representing the very best of American age-group swimming.
