UPDATE (9/15/22)- The TRI-Masters program for the 2022-2023 season begins Mon., Sept. 19th.  New members that are interested in joining the program in October 2022 should contact Laura Pitman for registration information   

Baylor TRI-Masters Swimming is dedicated to helping adults 18 years of age and older to incorporate healthier lifestyles through the sport of swimming. Any level of swimming is welcome!

We offer state-of-the-art training in an Olympic-sized pool and ongoing support for all your goals whether you are a beginner swimmer, lap swimmer, fitness swimmer, triathlete, open water swimmer, or competitive swimmer. Fortunately, the Baylor School campus sits on the Tennessee River, making for an excellent training ground for open-water swimming.

Baylor Tri-Masters Swimming offers Diverse, fun, and, dynamic workouts that accommodate personal goals and specific ability levels. Workouts may be modified for the sprint, Olympic, half, and full-distance triathlete to the fitness, lap, open water, or competitive swimmer.

Registration and Fees

United States Masters Swimming (USMS) reg. fee: $60.00 / year
Club registration fee: $45.00 / year (includes swim cap & t-shirt)
Monthly fee: $45.00 / month

If you know you would like to pay for an entire year or pay quarterly that is an option as well.
Yearly fee: $495.00 / year
Quarterly fee: $128.00 / quarter

In order to register for the Tri-Masters program, please follow the two-step process below.

STEP 1: Register with United States Masters Swimming (USMS) for insurance purposes. The cost is 60.00 / per year. When registering for USMS, please be sure to sign-up for the Aqua Raiders of Chattanooga (ARC) See the link below to sign-up for United States Masters Swimming.

STEP 2: Registration must be completed online. Click on the link to the right to start the online registration process. The monthly cost for the Baylor Tri-Masters program is $45 / month.

There is a 10% Baylor School faculty/staff discount for this program. Please email Laura Pitman for registration information if you are a Baylor School faculty/staff member.

Out of Town Walk-In / Drop-In Fees

Our “Out of town guest/Walk-in/Drop-in” policy allows USMS members that have not paid the monthly fee to swim with us. The swimmer must also present a valid USMS ID card. The fee is $10 per practice. The check should be made payable to the Baylor Swim Club.

 


Stephanie Davis- TRI-Masters Coach

Stephanie Davis found her passion for exercise while maintaining a career as a teacher and raising a family. As a longtime swimmer and triathlete, Stephanie realized she could apply her success as a classroom teacher to the world of triathlon swimming and strength & conditioning coaching. She then left the teaching field to do just that. She finds passion in helping others recognize and achieve their individual goals and enhance their strengths to produce sustainable fitness and optimal performance. She began her own coaching company in 2011 and has loved coaching and educating many athletes. She views performance holistically and it is anchored around the training plan that supports a strong mindset and decisions that promote health and sustainability in our sport. She believes in the importance of community and prides herself on building relationships between her athletes, as well as with fellow coaches. What Stephanie enjoys most is developing strong relationships with her athletes and helping them understand the details of the sport; success is not just competing well, but growing in the knowledge of the sport and themselves.

Certifications: USA Triathlon Level 1 and Paratriathlon Certified Coach, US Masters Swimming Level 1 and 2 Certified Coach, USMS Adult-Learn-To-Swim Instructor, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, TRX Certified Instructor

Background: Stephanie grew up a competitive swimmer She started swimming at the age of 6 and swam competitively until her Senior year when a water skiing accident will forever change her life with a back injury. Years past before back surgery was need an she and started running, strength training and doing triathlons as an adult to rehab from it all. She found she was able to apply her love of swimming from her past to this current sport and has been racing triathlons since 2004.


Location / Facilities

Baylor Tri-Masters Swimming is held in the state of the art Baylor School Natatorium held on the campus of the Baylor School.
