CHATTANOOGA, TN– Baylor Swim Club / Baylor School athlete Sam Flack was selected to participate in USA Swimming’s 2021 Zone Select Performance Workshop. These workshops will consist of the top swimmers in each zone based on the 2019 and 2020 Long Course Meters (LCM) seasons combined. It was held virtually on Monday, June 28th (Eastern & Southern Zones).
The goal of this workshop is motivational and is designed to develop the athlete’s leadership skills. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn from two organizations: Growing Leaders and More Brave. Both organizations have extensive experience working with student-athletes as well as providing leadership training.
The top swimmers in each Zone are selected for the workshop. Swimmers are selected automatically through USA Swimming’s SWIMS database based on 2019 and 2020 LCM combined IMX point scores. Criteria for this year’s workshop was modified due to the COVID-19 year and can be reviewed on the USA Swimming website.
